Long Run

Volunteer

Long Run Pony Club is fueled by a shared enthusiasm for horses, and the altruistic endeavor, professional and amateur alike, of caring for them. The education of those equestrians is a lifelong endeavor. You can read every book, watch every video, cull through every social media post, but the making of a horse person is in the DOING.

Every equestrian can likely list those special people and horses that taught them invaluable lessons along the way. Long Run Pony Club membership brings a sense of community and support. If attending mounted and unmounted meetings isn’t for you, or if you’ve completed your pony club membership and certification goals, we encourage participation in the club through volunteering. Our club explores the curiosity of its members in the core disciplines offered by Pony Club, as well as the horse management necessary for the daily care of horses.

To find out more about volunteering with us, go to this volunteer hand out and complete the application, along with the included links for a background check and completing Safe Sport training available for free on the USEF website.  Feel free to share this with fellow horse enthusiasts, USPC & LRPC alumni too!
